Pa'o Shan Villages
/
From the Pa'O villages around Pinlaung in Myanmar's Shan State, where smallholders grow a mix of Catimor, Caturra, SL28, SL34 and S795 between 1,400 and 1,500 metres. Behind The Leaf brings the harvests together and dries them naturally, whole cherry, on raised beds.
In the cup: stone fruit and red berries, a pomegranate tang, and brown sugar underneath to round it off. Sweet and easy on filter, rich and fruity as espresso.
Roasted in Battersea. Whole bean or ground, from 100 g to 1 kg. A 100 g bag makes around 6 cups, 200 g around 13, 1 kg about 65.
